Freemasonry's motto says it all:

   Liberty, Equality, Fraternity.

George Washington Union adds an extra layer to that:

   Harmony, Unity, Diversity

That being said, it is important to know that the extent of our fraternity can be experienced worldwide, that a Freemason should always attempt help a brother or sister in need, that members will meet other masons from all over the world when they come to visit, and will have the opportunity to go see other members in other lodges (and countries) if they wish to do so.
